But I would not let them install apps on the database server. No real reason to do so. It would force multiple Oracle homes, would open up the door to allowing them access to the server (you *know* they will want full access to the server), and just complicate managing the server. Never heard or ArcSDE.  But I would not let them install apps on the database server.  No real reason to do so.  It would force multiple Oracle homes, would open up the door to allowing them access to the server (you *know* they will want full access to the server), and just complicate managing the server.
