Thank you for the responses re. BusinessObjects. As I had responsed to M Godlewski,
"We have been using a little of Business Objects and I have come across badly written queries being
presented by B.O. [or was it a badly designed schema] which I had to "fix" with appropriate indexes.
Yes, I am still concerned by Business Objects."

I am going to escalate concerns about B.O. within my organisation.
