Hello,

Our java application is performing LOB operation (select), is it better to use OCI than JDBC thin client? (We do not use java applets)

I read from oracle documentation and asktom that using OCI is better for LOB operations, but my system administrator's understanding is other way around that java thin client performs better than OCI.

Please provide your thoughts on this. If there is any whitepapers on this, please send it to me.

Thanks,
San
