Does 10g RAC allow heterogeneous patching/upgrades like OpenVMS = Clusters? Having to still take down the entire RAC to patch limits the = usefulness of the HA of RAC, IMHO. Then again, if you treat RAC like an = flexible/expandable single system, it's not such a big deal as far as HA = goes because HA takes a backseat to those other benefits.
