HI Ryan
I had problems but I think it was related with DB_FILE_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT, because they were small tables, then Oracle choosed a full scan instead using an index. This was a group of coincidence that caused that problem, in one instance of time, I think If I would had wait some time, this problem whould have banished.
Based on that experience I saw to replicate that kind of problems you must have the same configuration file and table characteristics. Just my 2 cents.
