One of our DBAs just took a performance class from Kevin Loney. He reviewed
one of her Perfstat reports and suggested we re-write the query below. Gotta say I was suprised when I saw trace.


Not knowing just how many resources the query consumed, it is kind of hard to offer any useful advice other than this: don't run the query so often.

How often do you run it?

I would think once a day sufficient.
