i got picked for RMOUG, then fought for 4 months to get them to pick up anything. OOUG i did on my own dime. if i get picked for RMOUG next year, i have the feeling it will be easier to just go on my own. after 4 rejections from IOUG, i'm not bothering with them anymore. and i've been told flat out that they wouldn't send me even if i got picked.
