I have exported on 8i on HP-UX and imported to 9.2.0.5 on Linux (RH AS 2.1). No problems with the export/import cycle.

Subject: Export from HP Unix / Import to Redhat

We are getting ready to upgrade an Oracle 7.3.4 HP Unix database and in the process move the database to an Oracle 8i or 9i database on an Intel Linux platform.

My question is; How do I move the data from one to the other=3F Are the =66ormats compatible=3F

Thanks!
Ron Smith
