We don't run anything on AIX to get apache to run. Yeah, it checks the display variable, but as far as I have been able to tell, it hasn't actually tried to do anything with it....

I may be missing something, but it hasn't broken anything yet. In fact, even with it complaining about the display variable, it is running WAY better now than it EVER did when it was on W2K.

OK, why would a web server need X11 display? Am I missing something? That is probably why
I adamantly refuse to run oracle's version of Apache web server. Perl being ancient, Apache
being s***wed up as much as humanly possible, if not even more then that, I'm not running this
stuff. I am not going to run VNC server just to be able to start Apache. This thing is insane.
