Indeed, I had the same thing with Exceed. Reflexion from WRQ is a nice app, but is very expensive. XLite from Labtam (http://www.labtam-inc.com) does work fine and is not expensive (about $100).
Cygwin is also ok and free of charge, but only runs in semi-full screen mode.
