Hi experts,
I have run the following query
select name,registrar
from v$archived_log;

and got the result

E:\ORACLE\ORA81\RDBMS\ARC00010.001                   ARCH
E:\ORACLE\ORA81\RDBMS\ARC00011.001                   ARCH
E:\ORACLE\ORADATA\CHIC\ARCHIVE\ARC00014.001         FGRD

would anybody plz tell me what is the differenct between FGRD and ARCH. I have consulted the oracle documentation but in vain.

thanks
regards
Fahd
