AS2.1 now has a newer version when you do a download of the CDROM. You can download the AS2.1 upgrade 3 which has the latest versions and fixes for AS2.1.

When you say the database crashes doesn't help in solving the problem. What version of Oracle are you using? What do the logs report that has happened? Are your OS requirements set up properly to Oracle's requirements? Have you logged an ITAR with all of the relavent information? Oracle and Red Hat have an agreement that they will place the problem into the proper shop to get a resolution. If you log an ITAR and the problem is with the OS Oracle will pass the info/ITAR to Red Hat to get corrected. This of course applies to certified OS/Oracle combinations.
