transition from win32 to *nix64

Anyone care to share their stories regarding benefits and gotchas in the move of databases from win32 to *nix64?

We've already started migrating development off win32 to lin32 for some apps and have an app that has been running on a dedicated RH8 box for (9.2.0.3) for quite some time.

I'm hoping that as we test on and migrate to 10g, that it is on a 64 bit architecture. Thinking that the flexibility of AMD Opteron can't be beat for near-term purchases.

thanks in advance.

Paul
