Barbara Matthews (http://www.OnCallDBA.com) presented ³Managing the Concurrent Manager: Herding Cats² at IOUW 1994, I think it was. She has since updated that original paper for R10.7, R11.0.3, and R11i, in addition to newer papers on month-end weedwhacking in Oracle Apps...
