C:\Documents and Settings\n-litchfield>net start "OracleOraHome1010iSQL*Plus" The OracleOraHome1010iSQL*Plus service is starting. The OracleOraHome1010iSQL*Plus service was started successfully.

C:\Documents and Settings\n-litchfield>net stop "OracleOraHome1010iSQL*Plus" ..
The OracleOraHome1010iSQL*Plus service was stopped successfully.

:( If the service name really is invalid it ought to be invalid for both start and stop (and what a horrible service name it is...)
