It is rounding to a multiple of 16M. And it always rounds up. If your SGA_MAX_SIZE param is set to less than 4M, it will round to 4MB granule's. Otherwise, 16M granules. This is new in 9i. This also goes for other memory parameters. Yeup. It is = rounding to a=20 multiple of 16M. And it always rounds up.

If=20 your SGA_MAX_SIZE param is set to less than 4M, it will round to 4MB=20 granule's. Otherwise, 16M granules. This is new in = 9i. This=20 also goes for other memory parameters.
