After performing a task they dispose the connection (at least they says they are). But it seems as though there is a build up for idle sessions (30-40). I've created an assigned a profile with the following: CONNECT_TIME 120 IDLE_TIME 5 It seems like the connections for some of the users are still not being terminated. I've double checked and they are all associated with the profile. Any idea on how to terminate the idle instances? Any I missing something? Thanks In Advance, Jay _________________________________________________________________ Get a FREE online computer virus scan from McAfee when you click here. http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@freelists.org put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at http://www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at http://www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
