You had a problem, and it took you less than 2 hours to find a solution. I used several evenings during two weeks before finding a solution. My solution was to aviod the port conflict by moving from port 5505 til 5506. I was ready to post my solution on MetaLink, when I discovered, that there already was a better one. By the way: On MetaLink, Kathy from Oracle Support Services is asking you, what the solution was. Please help her. It seems I'm not the only person to hit the problem described in my note below. The solution lies in Metalink note 610431.999. Be sure to read all of the thread, especially the note from Eduardo about specifying port 1813. I can't seem to login to Database Manager as SYSDBA, but I guess that can be tomorrow's problem.
