[OT?] Using, or know anyone using Legato RepliStore?

The other day I was asked to deliver comment on intention of customers of ours to use Legato RepliStore to keep a copy of production database in synch with master database. Apparently this solution was proposed by a consultant (of suspicious Oracle skills) client hired.

Had a look at product white-sheets, didn't like at all what I saw, googled for any mention of RepliStore on comp.databases.oracle* found exactly zero hits, then went ahead and expressed doubts in a wisdom of such a move only to be told about some other clients of ours that are "happily running it".

Now that I know of other, "merry implementers", I'd like to know if you run or know anyone running RepliStore (this is Windohs only solution), more importantly do you know (for fact) of any successful and loss-less switch-over from master to copy database, than back?
