i find that mike ault's stuff is good. his best one by far is the admin and management(the one with all the scripts). if your going to get one by him, that is the one to get.

i found robert freemans 9i new features book to be good. far better written than the 9i OCP upgrade(its loaded with grammar and typing errors).

if its from ault/freeman your probably safe no matter who the publisher is. Though I still dont like the 'large type' from rampant to jack up the price. Makes me want to check it out of the library or read it in the bookstore and not pay for it.

i have not read any books by Arup nanda, but his articles are good and so are his posts.

btw, is ANYONE going to write a 9ias or 10G AS application server admin book? I'll buy it even if its bad. I need something to get me started.
