True, but you can only move 
the db_block_buffers above 3g and not the whole SGA.

Actually, this is wrong (wow I never thought I would say that to one of
Mladen's posts - but hey.. ;) ).

Even on 32bit Windows you can set a /3GB switch in your boot.ini file,
that will enable processes to go up to 3Gb in size.

With the /PAE boot.ini switch you can address up to 64Gb of RAM (though
I'm not sure on the limitations of process sizes with this).

So Jeffrey - if you've hit your 2Gb "limit" on Windows - you may want to
look at setting this before upgrading.

With Windows? Yes. Theoretically you're not, but then you
have a 64-bit version of BSOD which kicks in after 2GB.
