Hi Mike,

could be a bug in the driver, if you are sure that is the right error number - do you have the error stack?. oerr shows its a memory cartridge service handler being used that is not initialised. You probably have no control over initialising handles in OCI from Java so its probably internal. You don't mention versions? could it be a client version incompatibility. I found a few notes on metalink about people changing passwords in JDBC and a few mentioned issues with driver / client and platform incompatibilities. I would raise an iTar anyway sounds like it could be a bug?
