Igor, isn't writing wrappers for OCI sort of like re-inventing the wheel. Pro*C is a higer level API.

Well, as you know, OCI is a "low-level" interface to Oracle. Some developers find it difficult to use, so in the past I was creating for them "wrapper" libraries (on top of OCI libraries) in order to "hide" all these parse/execute/fetch calls.

I have never used the OCI for anything nor have I dug into it. I was wondering if anyone used it for anything. There is nothing specific to the question.
