When y'all are talking about combinations of SQL*Plus + vi on *nix, are = you simply talking about setting vi as the editor so that it is used = when you issue the SQL*Plus edit command? Or are you talking about a = more integrated combination of the two programs? Same thing about = SQL*Plus + vi + PERL? I know how to set up to use any editor I want - = vi or emacs or whatever, and can even cut and paste in xterm as Raj = mentioned, but are there some techniques that I've missed?
