Oh yea! I remember that...its not specific to dbca, its pretty much any Java
program running over an Xterm emulator. The problem, at least for me, was
that the focus wasn't 100% on the application. I had to select the
application in task manager and click "Switch To" in order to get it to
work.

I don't see where anyone responded to your message. My experience has been that dbca needs a very good Xterm emulator. Some work and some won't. The console always works.

I have installed 9024 and am trying to run dbca (via WebTerm X on my PC) and I cannot enter text into the Global db and SID. This has happened to me before with the installer and I have had to go to the computer room to run it at the console. Anyone know how to remedy this? (db server is Tru64 5.1a)
