Do you have an OMS set up? If not, all you get is Database Control = which manages a single database. Set up OMS and you should be OK.

loaded up 10g on linux (rh9), all looks good except i wanted to try out the "grid control" to look at other databases in the enterprise via OEM, but the grid control option is darkened, so i must have missed installing(or starting) something somewhere.

Would one you experts enlighten me.
