Hello everybody,

ENV : oracle 9.2.0.4 / Win2K

i'm trying to set up a physical standby database in managed recovery mode ("No data loss" mode).

FAL_CLIENT & FAL_SERVER -> docs say that these parameter should be set on the standby database .Is it not required on the primary database ?

And :
the docs & notes on metalink are not clear about how to set up a physical standby database in managed recovery mode and is confusing . I want the standby database to be set up in " No data loss" mode which is one of the three modes offered by 9i data guard .

Can someone let me know if u have any docs/pointers for the same ? Thanks in advance .

Regards,
Prem.
