Often on Win2k it is as simple as setting your ORACLE_SID env variable

Kirti,

What about Windows 2000 when same behaviour while logging as sys(not system)as
and user is a part of dba group. I think it depends on setting of remote_login_passwordfile=EXCLUSIVE( if setting is NONE no problem).
