Hi Jared

>From the 10g licensing document "When using RAC and Standard Edition, the m=
aximum number of processors per cluster is 4.", which I guess makes sense 4=  processors talking to any given db is the limit whether RAC or standalone.= =20
<pet peeve>

The old daft measurement of the theoretical capacity of the box rather than=
 the actual number of processors installed is still there "Oracle Database =
Standard Edition can be licensed on single servers or server clusters that =
have a maximum capacity of four processors. " </pet peeve>

Isn't the 4 CPU limit a per-server limit?
