Any chance this could be a user-configurable option? I typically sort = by message header, and absolutely *detest* the "[list-name]" prefix = scheme.

As per normal, could you please leave it in. I use it (oracle-l) to help sort my Inbox in Outlook. In fact I adopted the notation to help = identify my
other system messages (up to 300 over 24 hours).

My $0.02 worth but perhaps we can vote, offer bribes etc.
