Jesse:

new hardware.
new OS.
new oracle installation.
probably other patchsets applied.
new db.

Yep. had to be Windows. without a doubt. No other factors changed.

I am not arguing with moving from win32 to *nix. I am taking issue with the conclusion that you reached, and how you established cause/effect.  

I believe that ORA-600 errors are cross-platform, as are ORA-3113s, block corruption, etc.

I know that it is pointless to continue this thread, but I felt that I had to jab back to such FUD.
