To all 9i DBA's.

I am trying to find out how efficient (or not ) is the option of running dbms_stats with dbms_stats.auto_sample_size.

Reading metalink I see a lot of issues with the time it takes to run, and also that sample_size column is always equal to num_rows.

Would like to hear from anyone who is using this in a Production environment,

tia

Yuval.
