Creator of the archivelog:

• ARCH - ARCH process
• FGRD - Foreground process
• RMAN
• SRMN - RMAN at standby
• LGWR - LGWR process

SQL> select recid,creator from v$archived_log where recid > 55;

     RECID CREATOR
--------- -------

        56 ARCH
        57 ARCH
        58 FGRD

SQL> ALTER SYSTEM ARCHIVE LOG CURRENT; System altered.

SQL> select recid,creator from v$archived_log where recid > 55;

     RECID CREATOR
--------- -------

        56 ARCH
        57 ARCH
        58 FGRD
        59 FGRD
