I think you should make an issue, because Korn Shell (/bin/ksh) is de-facto standard and the vendor should deliver either both shells (Korn and C) or only Korn. Allegedly, bash can assume both personalities, but if you need to modify the script, you need it to have it in Korn Shell language. Of course, the best thing to have would be an install script having #!/usr/bin/perl -w on the first line, but it would be too much to ask, wouldn't it? BTW, my spelling checker is offering the word "Koran" for as a correction of the word "Korn".
