howard posted on dejanews that he is contracting to oracle. so i doubt he got fired. he probably just quit. We all know alot of people who 'used to work for oracle'.

biggest downside is the lydian third site is gone. Had all the copies of his essays on it. apparently oracle theratened to sue him over it. Supposedly in australia companies own you while you work theere and you need special permission to publish.
