Re: software which monitoring diferences between instances ?

The only other tool that works on Oracle would be part of the CAST workbench suite of tools. there's a product for MS Sql server called AdeptSQL, and a toolset of perl scripts for Sybase called dbschema.pl that do similar jobs.
