Optimization paper for managers

Mladen, you asked a question a few days ago about good performance advice for managers. There's a new paper at hotsos.com that deals with this issue. In it, Gary Goodman provides a detailed discussion-for managers-of four critical elements for ensuring project success:  

• maximizing your system's economic value,
• making informed decisions,
• holding staff accountable to a forecast,
• measuring success based solely on results.

It's well written and only 8 pages long, so there's hope that busy people will actually read the whole thing.
