Can someone tell me the restriction on the # of columns in the select clause of the statement.. We are running into sort key too long - ORA-01467. I am told there is no order by or group by in the query. I need to look @ the query to make sure there are no references in the statement that generates a implicit sort. I tried to search on the restriction and could not comeup with anything.

Thanks for your help

Murali.
