Oracle-L: Using external Authentication with LDAP

Hi Listers,

I am presently working on Oracle 9iR2 latest patchset. I'd like to configure user authentication using external LDAP server.

Do I need to Install Oracle9iAS to achive this???

Any Resources/Documentation/Links for reference

Any kind of help will be appreciated.
