Experience with various flavors of storage technology plus a decade of DBA experience can't possibly prepare me for what I haven't read (i.e. "Oracle's recommendations"). In a multiple-choice test format, unlike real life, I can't possibly argue with what Oracle has recommended...

No wonder I failed my first try at the 9iOCP upgrade exam. Yes, I'll try again, once the lobotomy scars heal...
