I am discussing this issue with Ravi offline. From the initial IPC dumps, It looks like the private interconnect is not properly configured/used for cache fusion. I am waiting for more details from him..

Yes. Timed_statistics=true. But I see the 'times' even in single instance(non-rac)database but relatively called negligible number of times.
