Sounds like a duplicated IP or duplicated Service name. Luis

When I am trying to start listener on Linux box ,getting error TNS-12542: TNS:address already in use
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
  TNS-00512: Address already in use
   Linux Error: 98: Address already in use I checked no process fro listener and no port used by another process. Let me know how to fix that pl
