There's great freeware smtp client called BLAT that you can use. You can probably google search for it or find it on www.download.com

Hi Group,

In one of our client place we are having Oracle 8.1.7 (std Ed) on NT.

Here we need to send mails if the DB is down or if the listener is down or
any errors in the alert log is found. In Unix we can use shell scripts and
awk to do this. What about in NT????/

Guru's do you have any scripts to do the same.

Please help me in this.
