Kevin,

   It widely depends on what you are auditing, and how (eg per access / per session). If it's per access (certainly an overkill) a sum(executions) from v$sql group by command_type can put you on the right tracks for the number of records you may expect (check also the oldest loading time to see how much you can expect per day). If it's per session the HWM as indicated in the alert.log file is at least a first piece of information. But really, it can go from not much to more than what your databases contain already.
