B is the correct answer. Incremental backups are supported in archivelog and noarchivelog mode.

Rman does not require a recovery catalog. RMAN is not compatible with EBU
RMAN works just fine to disk.

The answer is D;
  RMAN does not require a recovery catalog   RMAN only supports multi-level incremental backups when DB is in Archivelog mode
  RMAN is NOT compatible with EBU

Hello:

I'm taking a 8i Backup & Recovery Practice test and believe the answer key
might be off.

Question

Which statement regarding Recovery Manager with a database operating in NOARCHIVELOG mode is true?

  1. Recovery Manager requires a recovery catelog
  2. Recovery Manager syooirts multi-level incremental backups
  3. Recovery Manager is compatible with Enterpise Backup utility
  4. Recovery Manager only works in conjunction with a tap subsystem

Anwser key says that D is the correct answer.

I would say that C is the correct answer since only a full offline backup
can be performed.

Thanks in Advance,
Jay
