I guess this is a silly question, but could it be that Oracle didn't like the COMPATIBLE = 9.0.2 since there is no 9.0.2? I don't know how the comparison is done, but if it's a string comparison I wonder if there will be any bugs with the COMPATIBLE check when version 10 comes out.
