Hi all,

we have following environment remote db v 8.1.7 on Sun Solaris E10K. From that db is running a program which does updates through database link.

Remote database is version 9.2.0.1.

When remote database version was 8.1.7 to complete that run took only 11hours but after upgrading to 9i it will took more than double.

How you find this kind of problems, what might be the reason, all other "moving parts" are the same only thing we have changed is the database version on remote side...

TIA
Joshua
