jared is that coincidence or just that we have few planets.

I have similar configuration of hp 10.2 servers with 7.3/ebu/netbackup Earth (NB client)
Mars (NB client)
Venus (NB master+media server)

And I regularly use ebu on venus to restore from earth/mars.

For details refer to
NetBackup 3.4 for Oracle System Administrator's Guide for UNIX Page 125

I have used those steps and they work (well not rman though)
