Hey guys-Need some thoughts and information.....

Is there anyway to isolate the orainst.loc file to each specific Oracle installation on a box? In other words; is there a way to isolate that into each $ORACLE_BASE or $ORACLE_HOME?? I can handle the orainventory file with Oracle 9i; but I'm trying to avoid the "common file per server" syndrome in our infrastructure.
