Go to OTN, follow the Alerts link, check the alerts and find which one corresponds with this patch.

For security patches... I want to apply them even though we don't have the symptoms, because we would notice the "symptom" only after discovering that a system was hacked.

I wouldn't hesitate to plug holes as they are discovered.

Consider purchasing the SANS Oracle Security Step by Step Guide, at www.sans.org.

which we don't have any symptoms yet. Does anyone have been applied this patch?
